Get Sorted includes a donation drop-off after each session. Over the years we have found reliable charities, organizations, and businesses that help reduce waste! Refer to this curated list to find out where you can donate or recycle your items! Always contact the organization to get the latest information. 

Where to donate clothes, household items, toys:
  • JRCC Furniture - Thornhill
  • Furniture Bank - Toronto/GTA
  • Helping With Furniture - Ottawa
  • New Circles - Toronto
They gladly accept clothing, footwear, and accessories for all ages (infants to seniors), genders, and sizes.

  • Diaper Bank - Toronto & GTA
The Diaper Bank accepts loose, opened and new packages of diapers. We will also accept wipes and formulas.
  • Jessie's Centre Organization - Toronto & GTA
The Jessie's centre organization accepts baby clothes and equipment, clothes for young women, including maternity clothes, and many useful household items.
  • New Mom Project - Toronto & GTA
The New Mom Project is a Toronto-based charity committed to serving new and expecting Mothers in need.

Whether you have an old laptop, toaster, or charging cords - this place will help you properly dispose them!
  • Deserres - multiple locations
This recycling program aims to recycle art materials that are considered "non-recyclable".
  • Tiny Toys co - Toronto
    Tiny Toy Co. is a little toy shop based in Toronto with a big difference! We refurbish and upcycle toys and games, diverting toy waste away from landfill, into play-based learning activities and teaching resources. You can donate all sorts of toys here, especially if pieces are missing. 
  • IKEA - multiple locations
Spot to recycle batteries and lightbulbs.

5% of all in-person and virtual organizing service sales are donated each month to registered charities.
